How do I choose a web designer for a peptide store?

⚡ Short answer

Pick someone who can show live stores in this sector, confirms in writing that you own the domain, hosting and code, knows which gateways accept peptides, and redirects every old link. Avoid anyone who promises payment approval or writes dosing copy.

PART 1

Questions to ask

Can I see live stores you built in this sector, and are they still trading?
Who owns the domain, hosting account and code when the project ends?
Which payment gateways have you connected for peptide or high-risk stores?
How will you move my products, customers, orders and old links?
How fast are your stores on a phone? Can I test one?
What happens after launch: updates, backups and who fixes things?
What exactly is in the quote, and what costs extra?
PART 2

Red flags

Promises that a processor will approve you. Only the processor decides.
"FDA-compliant website" as a selling point. There is no such certificate for a website.
Offers to write dosing, results or benefit copy.
Suggests Shopify for a peptide store.
Keeps the hosting or domain in their own account only.
"Nulled" or unlicensed premium themes and plugins.
No written agreement or scope.
