Choosing a supplier

Why is a price far below the market a warning sign?

⚡ Short answer

Making a peptide properly costs money: synthesis, purification, freeze-drying, independent testing and careful storage. A price far below everyone else usually means one of those steps was skipped, or the vial is not what the label says.

Where the money goes

Synthesis: building the chain one amino acid at a time, with good-quality raw materials.
Purification: HPLC purification to remove failed and incomplete chains.
Freeze-drying and filling vials accurately.
Testing each batch, ideally at an independent lab.
Cold storage and proper packaging.

Corners that get cut

Lower purity, with more impurities left in.
Less peptide in the vial than the label states.
A cheaper, different compound under the same name.
No new test for each batch, with an old certificate reused.
Poor storage or shipping that lets the peptide break down.
Choosing a supplier

Not every discount is a warning

Bulk pricing and promotions are normal. The test is whether the paperwork holds up: a certificate for that batch, from a lab you can confirm, with a matching batch number. A cheap price with solid paperwork is a good deal. A cheap price with none is the warning.
